I’m still crazy in love with the macarones from Ladurée….I just can’t have enough of them. These delicious cute creatures makes my day :-) Rose petal, pistache, noix de coco, menthe, framboise from Ladurée, 21 Rue Bonaparte.

Yesterday I met my friend Clari after work at MyBerry in Le Marais. Haven’t seen her since she left Paris for more than a month ago for some travelling in Europe. She had been in Poland, Germany and Italy…lucky her :-) I was really happy meeting her and I’m sure we’ll have some more crazy party nights in Paris before she leaves for Argentina in October :-)

Sommar för mig är sol, bad och massor av glass. I år blev det inget bad för mig..men massor av solande i Jardin du Luxembourg :-) Och sola gör man inte utan hårfria och lena ben och den som hjälpt mig med den biten  i sommar är Philips SatinPerfect Epilator. Min gamla Philips Satinelle Ice Epilator som jag varit trogen i flera år har jag bytt ut mot SatinPerfect som jag fått möjlighet att testa gratis från PHILIPS under en period. SatinPerfect Epilator har keramiska skivor som drar bort håren, skonsamt – eller så är det jag som vant mig vid epileringen ;-) En stor fördel med SatinPerfect Epilator är att den har en inbyggd lampa som gör att man ser de små hårstråna som man aldrig ser i ett vanligt belyst badrum. Epilatorn drar bort håren från rötterna och det dröjer några veckor innan man behöver epilera igen.

Fler fördelar med Philips SatinPerfect?

• Den har en inbyggd vibrator som “lyfter” upp envisa hårstrån som försöker “gömma” sig från att blir uppdragna ;-)
• Den har ett brett epileringshuvud vilket gör att den drar bort fler hårstrån i ett drag – sparar TID ;-)
• epileringshuvudet är tvättbart – hygieniskt!
• en sladdlös precisionsepilator medföljer, superbra att ha med på resor och övernattningar :-) Ett annat stort PLUS med den sladdlösa precisionsepilatorn är att huvudet är mindre än den vanliga och den är med andra ord super att använda vid områden som armhålor och bikinilinjen!

Med ett resultat av hårfria och lena ben så är jag mer än nöjd, Philips SatinPerfect har kommit till väl användning och om ni är ute efter en riktigt bra epilator så rekommenderar jag Philips SatinPerfect :-)

Som ni säkert alla vet vid det här laget så bär jag fast tandställning sen oktober 2009. Att borsta tänderna har sedan dess har inte varit så lätt…för att vara mer specifik, väldigt tidskrävande. Sedan en tid tillbaka har jag testat Philips rechargeable sonic toothbrush (gratis från PHILIPS) och känner att det är dags att dela med mig av vad jag tycker om den :-) Ready?

Första gången jag använde den kittlades det som in i, men jag var envis och fortsatte använda den och redan efter några gånger användning har jag vant mig. Inte så farligt ;-) Den har en 2-minuters timer och man behöver inte göra mycket mer än att låta den gå från tand till tand..resten sköter den själv och jag är väldigt nöjd med resultatet för den rengör väldigt effektivt och jag sparar en massa tid. Den kommer åt ställen som jag annars haft problem med att komma åt innan och i och med att det är en elektrisk tandborste och vibrerar automatiskt så blir det en mer effektiv rengöring än när man borstar med en vanlig tandborste.

Det som är speciellt med the sonic toothbrush är att den har en whitening-effect. Borsthuvudet har en bred borstrad och vinklad hals vilket gör att den kommer åt alla ytor på tänderna. Nu har jag inte tagit några före- och efter bilder på mina tänder för att se om de blivit vitare, de är redan ganska vita. Men om man röker, dricker kaffe eller dricker rött vin ofta så ser man säkert en skillnad efter en tids användning.

En annan fördel som jag upptäckt med the sonic toothbrush är att den stoppas automatiskt om man trycker för hårt med den mot tänderna eller tandköttet, en superbra funktion ;-) Nu slipper tänderna och tandköttet bli misshandlade ifall man är stressad och går extra hårt med tandborsten :-)

Som ni märker så är jag mer än nöjd med the sonic toothbrush, den uppfyller mina behov – håller mina tänder rena och friska och dessutom är den snygg att ha i badrummet, tummen upp med andra ord ;-)

Jeremy Scott, the American fashion designer behind Adidas collection with wings have been a bestseller and I like them, for casual use. Never thought you could wear wings but still in a dressed up way but Alexander McQueens crew never stops surprising. Look at these stunning high heels with the golden wings. I love them, they look absolutely fab and I love the skull at the zipper :-)

I’ve been in Paris for 6 months now and even though there were people telling me it was a stupid decision to quit my job in Stockholm, to leave my apartment and to move to a new country, a new city, a city where I knew no one, I city where I didn’t had an apartment, a city where I didn’t had any job, a country with a language I didn’t speak….that was crazy. I agree, it was crazy….but I simply love to do crazy things. I’m fully aware I left a great career in Sweden…but at the same time I’ve never felt so alive for the moment. It’s like a book, my life in Paris is a new chapter in my life.

My life here is not easy, I have almost nothing in income…but in the other hand…the things I’m looking for in Paris can not be bought with money. I came to save myself and learn to feel again. Even though it hurts sometimes, even though it happens I play with fires and can’t keep out from things I should stay away from I’m loving it. I’m about to create a life in Paris and it might take a time…Until I don’t speak French fluently I have a long way to go. But I’m not giving up. My life has just begun and there are plenty of things I would like to try and to do. I might get burned on the way…but if I never try I will never know?

If you don’t live for somethings…you will die for nothing….

Yesterday was the first day Le Baron was open….two weeks have passed since they closed for the holidays but it felt like they we’re closed for several months. Same music and same people where there last night and it was really good…like always :-) Now I hope Montana will open next week so I can do my regular Montana-Baron-thing.

For not long ago my friend Lisa (ParisLisa) was on a visit in Paris for two days and I was so happy to meet her :-) We had lunch at Cococook at Rue de Seine, had ice cream at GROM and Amorino….and updated each other about our lifes :-)Last time I met her was in May at Café de Flore. Did you know that Lisa’s blog were one of the blogs from Paris I read and got inspired by before moving to Paris? I remember how I read all her blogpost about her life in Paris…over and over…until I took the BIG decision..to move to Paris :-) Now we’re friends and she has always been there for me trying to help me out with all kind of things which I appreciate alot :-) Lisa, I’m already looking forward your next trip to Paris ;-)

Before Lisa left she gave me this card with a quote by Henry James: “Il est temps de vivre la vie que tu t’es imaginée” – it’s time to live the life you have been imagined. Can’t nothing but agree and I’m trying my best and I love my life in Paris even more every day :-)

I know it might sound pretty weird, I’ve been living in Paris since January and I’m still in love with this city. I never thought love stories like this could be so long lasting…in fact i thought I would have had enough of Paris for a while ago, but NO. Each time I see this magical light, each time I pass by beautiful monuments and buildings I have 1000 butterflies in my stomach. I’m totally in LOVE and I hope this feeling will be everlasting.

It’s Saturday evening and my body is screaming to go out and dance….but it’s vaccation and Montana is closed, life is hard :-( I really miss to go out and dance and have fun. But I guess they’ll open in the end of August or in the beginning of September…..I even miss Montana‘s wallpaper made by Vincent Darré…

Two days ago I went to Christine for a last evening before she left for Sweden. Natalie, Linda and Natalies friend were also there and we had a great time. As you can see on the photos my rehab period is over…in fact I can only hold on during the day and in the evening I break my rehab, bad…

I got to know Christine through our blogs and I’m really happy having her as a friend and that I’ve got to know Nathalie and Linda aswell, we all have something in common and that is that we left Sweden for Paris :-) I will really miss Christine but she told me she will come for a visit in September so I’m already looking forward it ;-)

Woody Allen is in Paris shooting for his latest movie, “Midnight in Paris”. He and his crew have been shooting several times in St Germain where I live and last week they were at the brasserie Le Paul Bert in Porte de Clignancourt for yet another shoot. Carla Bruni and Owen Wilson are some of the actors and even though I’m not a big fan of Woody Allens movie I can’t wait to see it. I love Paris and I liked his “Vicky,Christina, Barcelona” – so who knows..this one could be a good one ;-)

Last week I met my Swedish friends Natalie and Christine and Natalies friend Liza for some nice rosé wine at La Palette here in St Germain. La Palette is a great place for after-works, the waiters are nice, it’s almost tourist-free and it’s only 3 minutes walk from my place (I know..I’m lazy). We had a great time, always fun meeting my friends :-) Except the regular art-dealer crowd I met some people that I have got to know at Le Baron and Montana at La Palette….the world is..once again…SMALL. Later we went for some gelatos at Amorino (4 rue de Buci) – I had chocolate, pistachio and amaretto..heavenly combination ;-)
