Parc Monceau last week...

Last week in Parc Monceau. Profited the beautiful weather while having a walk in the park with my friend Vanessa. Springtime in Paris is just marvellous!

My new Spring jacket...

The temperature is getting higher in Paris and it has been too hot wearing my leather jacket so yesterday I went and bought myself a new Spring jacket. I went straight to the Men‘s department and found this military green jacket ;-) I acctually buy a lot of clothes that are originally made for men, especially when I’m looking for casual clothes where I find the ones for women too tight and not comfortable at all….

This afternoon I went to Quintessence Playground to take some photos on the owners of the gallery Quintessence Playground and Vanity Lifestyle. The photos were for the reportage that will be published in Elle Déco soon. It was a great experience taking the photos today and I’m happy our assistant was there, we made a great team. I’m looking forward to see one or two of the photos in Elle Déco soon :-)

Black matte Ferrari

Yet another car wrapped in a black matte finish…..the color and finish that I prefer. The Bentley that was parked outside my building a couple of days ago was indeed very classy but if one wants a faster car this Ferrari is better…

My camera for 2 weeks

Last evening my Canon G12 just stopped working without any logical reasons :-( It had a never-ending black-out so this morning I went with it for reparation. I will get it back within 2 weeks :-) But since I can’t be without a camera a friend of mine stopped by earlier today with his Nikon Coolpix so that I can continue taking photos for my blog, really nice! It will be fun using and discover this new camera while my own is on rehab ;-)

Mr Boney @ Quintessence Playground

Have been working @ Quintessence Playground during the whole weekend. Have had +20 degrees…really beautiful weather!! Anyway, what I was going to say…take a look at the skull in the photo, mr Boney. After have been playing with him for a while, Ludo (who owns Quintessence Playground ) made an amazing creation using it. After a couple of hours I got to see the result and I was really amazed. No photos yet, but perhaps later…

All wrapped in black matte finish.....

A couple of days ago when a friend of mine was driving me home we were discussing cars, or jeeps acctually. My friend was talking about Range Rover and wanted my opinion, I would rather go for a Lincoln Navigator or a Ford Escalade…however, I don’t think Paris is a city for jeeps. Anyway, right before we came to my street I was talking about that I prefer black matte finish on cars…. And suddenly there it was…just in front of me….this beautiful Bentley GT…all wrapped in black matte finish. Usually I just open the port to my building in 1 sec…but this time I made a U-turn…and had a moment with the beauty…in black matte finish…

New York on my nails....while working in the gallery (March 26th)

Well….if I can’t go to New York well then New York will come to me…at least on my nails ;-) Put some new nailpolish on my nails, New York from Mavala. I love the grey shade, it reminds me of the grey color that signifies Dior…. And as Tyen, Dior‘s make-up maestro recently said “grey is the color of time”. Can’t nothing but agree on that one…and in fact..your hair gets grey by time ;-)

The Dior Heritage Box - exhibition @ Le Bon Marché

This week I went to see the Dior Heritage Box exhibition @ Le Bon Marché. The installation was made by Alexandre de Betak and his design company Bureau Betak.  The exhibition touched me by all my senses…the Miss Chérie perfume had been sprayed and you could scent it immediately in the air, the music mixed with various speechs in the background perfectly matched the theme, the boxes, the typical signs for Dior such as the Medallion, the 18th century chair, the grey color and all the lightening effects was extremely perfectly done. I was completely amazed! I snapped many photos and also took some videoclips that I’ll share with you soon.

Delicious French raspberry pastries....

My friend Jo surprised me with very good news this morning…she just got herself a new job. I was so happy to hear that so we decided to meetup right away at Avenue Marceau. We celebrated the good news by having some delicious French raspberry pastries :-) Had some girltalk while profiting the sun and the beautiful weather in Paris. 20 degrees…can’t complain at all!

Yesterday evening I went to the cinema and watched “Le mytho – Just go for it” with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Adam Sandler always makes me laugh and Jennifer Aniston aswell so one thing was sure when I stepped into the movie saloon, I would have a funny time. And my God how Jennifer was so stunning gorgeous in the movie!!! One of my favourite scenes from the movie is the one about meatballs…I know..a pervert joke but yet so funny :-)

Me

What a day! I woke up early by the sun and then I went outside for a walk to profit the beatiful weather. Paris in Spring is completely the most adorable city in the world! I went to Le Bon Marché to see the Dior exhibition and then I went to Colette for some shopping…mostly window-shopping…. Also had my  French-class in the evening and then I went for cinema and watched “Le mytho” with Adam Sandler. Couldn’t have had a better or funnier ending of the evening :-)

Quintessence Playground

On Monday I was at the gallery where I work (Quintessence Playground). A team from Elle Déco was there doing a photo-shoot for a reportage that they’re going to have in one of their Spring editions. It was exciting to follow how the team worked and I can’t wait to see the photos they took :-)

Finally the Spring has arrived to Paris :-) There is nothing better than open up my eyes in the morning by the sun and not wake up to a grey and dull weather. I love Paris even more now and can barely wait to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather outside……
