Natural, fair and delicious – that is what my favourite tea is from the brand Clipper! I discovered this tea brand (from UK) at work, and ever since my first cup I totally fell in love. I haven’t found this tea brand in Sweden yet and the ones you can see in the photos I bought in a store in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Their fruit infusion teas are a pure delight, beautiful deep red color and intoxicating perfume…and not to talk about the taste…utterly delicious!

Since I’m not surrounded with Michelin awarded restaurants or my Italian favourite restaurant Oenosteria in Paris and I’m tired of the store-bought pesto jars (that are more or less containing potatoes, cashew nuts and other substitutes…. ) I decided that it was time for a change. With other words, I would do my very own homemade pesto. What a delight! It turned out to be the most delicious pesto I’ve ever tasted! My pesto was four times more expensive than a store-bought, but it was worth every cent, I will never buy store-bought pesto ever again!

For a jar filled with pesto I used the following ingredients: 1 pot eco basil, 1 pot eco persil, 130 g grated parmesan cheese, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 70 g pine nuts, 2 dl extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of love! Mix altogether in a food processor et voilà! Pesto love it is!

Pasta loves pesto! But so do vegetables, bruschettas…even fish and chicken…only your imagination puts the limit ;-)

Me, just about going out for dinner, in Paris May 2011 when I was living at Avenue Carnot. I miss those days dressing up and going out for dinners. Here where I live now in Sweden I would never put on my heels from Prada..the cobblestones would destroy them immediately…and I really don’t do my hair anymore since the rain here seems to follow me wherever I go…and besides…where I live there are no restaurants at all. Changing Paris into living in the countryside is a challenge…

Let me present my new partner…Nikon Coolpix S8200 or mr Slim as I call him. Mr Big (my Nikon D5100) is a heavy weighter and sometimes I need a slim and light weighted camera to bring along with me and after looking for a good one me and Nikon Coolpix S8200 found each other, love at first sight I would say!

I think this camera will be perfect to bring with me on a daily basis and it will be a great complement to my Nikon D5100 with the lens Nikkor 35 mmf/1.8 G that I bring with me on my travels. First I was thinking about buying a new lens to my Nikon D5100…but the weight of the lens I wanted is 600g = too heavy. So I think this lightweighted Nikon Coolpix S8200 will cover my needs….. My weekend in London next week will be the first challenge for mr Slim and I will bring along mr Big too for all the close-up photos.

Staring on the interior – the first thing I do rather than checking out the new collection…that’s me in a nutshell. This is one of my favourite stores in Paris, All Saints! Love the old Singer sewing machines they have in their shopping windows, the bricks on the walls and the industrial lamps. Besides their interior I love their boots (I have some pairs) and their printed shirts, leather jackets and outerwear…. I would describe the style of their clothes as vintage meets industrial with a warm and soft touch of bohemian.

Café Charlot in Paris is one of my favourite places for having an utterly delicious brunch at. It is a place I discovered when I moved to Paris in January 2010 and ever since I had my first brunch there I fell in love. Love affair deluxe I would call it…

As you can see in the photo above, me and my friends all went for their classic brunch menu: fresh squeezed orange juice, hot chocolate (to die for! Thick and creamy texture….), pain perdu, toast, cherry tomatos and shallots, fresh fruit salad, scrambled organic eggs with smoked salmon and soft chive cream cheese. Can you ask for more? This is THE place to bring your friends for some Sunday chillaxing and gossiping (ofcourse! we all want to know what happened last night at the party if your memory failed on you…) while endulging yourselves with a delicious brunch.

Café Charlot is located in the Marais district and is situated just across the Marché des Enfants Rouges (the oldest food market in Paris). It is a bistro with a retro interior and a very fashionable clientel…oh yes, this is the place were you can see the trendy Parisians almost fighting for a free table inside Café Charlot…..

It’s definately the place to be, either if you want to have a delicious brunch…or just be in the middle of a fashionshow ;-)

p.s. I’m not into burgers BUT Café Charlot‘s actual specialty is the cheese burger...which all my friends gives the thumb up for. So if you share the same passion, Café Charlot is the place!
