Le Baron during the Fashion-Week

March 15th, 2011 § 0

Me and Linda @ Le Baron

During the Fashion-Week Le Baron is more of a international melting pot…..fashion people from all over the world are partying like crazy. I was there with Linda and we had a great time….the DJ‘s were awesome! We were totally amazed (even Linda who’s a DJ). Too bad it’s not always like that at Le Baron……

Outside Le Baron is the best place to networking…since it’s too packed inside. Met some friends from NYC that I had met on the Fashion-Week in January and we met several of Linda‘s friend from Sweden. Swedish fashion-people loves Baron ;-)

Sonia Rykiel afterparty @ Chez Castel

March 14th, 2011 § 0

Linda and me @ Sonia Rykiel's after show party at Chez Castel

During the FASHION WEEK Sonia Rykiel had a fashion after-show party at the private club Chez Castel where I went to with my friend Linda. We had risotto with aspargus as dinner, macarones, mousse au chocolat and moelleux au chocolat as dessert and lots of glasses with champagne on our table. Had a great start on our evening…too bad that the DJ was playing horrible songs…after the dinner we couldn’t stand it more and took off to Café de Flore where we met some friends from NYC..then we continued to Montana that was almost empty….we ended up at Le Baron instead…which was crowded..no wonder why Montana was empty that evening….

Acne’s fashionparty @ La Fidelité

January 24th, 2011 § 0

Last night me, Jo, Linda and a friend of hers went to Acne‘s fashionparty co-hosted by André & Lionel at La Fidélite. I felt very home hearing people talking in Swedish but there were some people from NY and Paris aswell ;-) And many models!!!! Among the crowd I spotted Mikael Schiller, the CEO of Acne, Elin Kling, Olivier Zahm, Jonny Johansson, Daniel Lindström and downstairs, in the cave, Romy Croft from xx was the DJ of the night and behind her mr A on the wall, created by André Saraiva. Between all the champagne and cocktails we had it was really a great night, too bad they closed at 1, everyone (almost) went off to Le Baron, but me and Jo went home to re-boost our energy because today the shows for the Haute Couture just started = fashionparties every night :-)

Le Montana and Le Baron

@ Baron - 6 Avenue Marceau, Paris

Last night was my last night in my apartment in Odéon (Saint Germain in Paris) and after packing my last things the wise thing for me would have been to get some sleep to be well prepared for the final moving to Vincennes today. But I couldn’t resist the temptation of going out partying (even though the last time I went to Montana was the night before….). Around midnight I met up my friends at Montana and danced like never before. Living only 5 minutes of walk to Montana has been almost the best part living in Saint Germain :-) Later we took a taxi to Le Baron for even more partying and some Baron cocktails. If you ever go to Baron you should order their signature cocktailthe Baron ;-) Heavinly delicous, j’adore! It’s a mix of champagne, vodka and sweet strawberries.

Back on track….

August 22nd, 2010 § 2

Yesterday was the first day Le Baron was open….two weeks have passed since they closed for the holidays but it felt like they we’re closed for several months. Same music and same people where there last night and it was really good…like always :-) Now I hope Montana will open next week so I can do my regular Montana-Baron-thing.

My love is illegal

Le MontanaMe and Josefin @Montana

Some of the reasons I haven’t been updating my blog recently have been that I’ve only spent 2 hours at home during the past weeks…I’ve spent more time at Montana and Le Baron than at my own place…

8 hours of work every day, @ Montana around 1-2 in the morning, @ Le Baron around 3-4 in the morning….at home by 8, just in time to erase all my stupid messages and pictures I’ve been sending through my Blackberry to my Facebook….then 1-2 hours sleep and off to work at 10 :-( Multiply that with 2 weeks and you know how my life have been. Have had a blast with my “partner-in-crime”, Josefin. Last Saturday was the last night when Le Baron and Montana were open, now they’ve closed for a month because most of the people in Paris are off for vaccation :-(

Been through good things…been through bad things…revealing it on my blog would kill the magic so I won’t….I’m acctually kind of happy over this break…need some rehab..but it’s hard..I’m so used to go out that I don’t know what to do. Thank God La Palette is not closing so I can hang around with my friends instead ;-)

Nightlife in Paris, Le Montana & Le Baron

July 24th, 2010 § 3

Two days ago I went out with Josefin, we were acctually just going for an afterwork but we continued to Montana in St Germain where we met some friends. The DJ’s were playing awesome music so we stayed there for a long while…suddenly we realized we were partying with Prince ;-) Then another friend came along and somehow we arrived at Le Baron and danced all night long..I also managed to twist my ankle but I didn’t felt the pain until the day after. When they closed Le Baron around 6 I took a walk home..love walk next by the river Seine that early in the morning..it’s sooo beautiful :-)

I’ve receieved lot’s of mail regarding what clubs to go in Paris. When I first came here I loved going to VIP ROOM, but maybe it was because it was awesome during the fashion week and when Madonna’s boyfriend Jesus Luz were playing…now I don’t go there anymore. Le Baron is where crazy things happens and Montana is a great place to go pre-partying before ;-) Now u know!

Gazelle & Mo Laudi at Le Baron

June 28th, 2010 § 0

La Fête de la Musique – part 2:

Around 23h it was so crowded at St Germain and in the area of Odéon so I left St Germain and started to walk to downtown. I met my friend Clari and Josefin outside Cha Cha club where Mo Laudi had performed during the evening. Mo Laudi is a South African DJ and MC who we met last Sunday at my favourite bar in Montmartre, he was with a friend of mine and that’s how we got to know each other. Anyhow, they were going to Le Baron with Gazelle to perform live so we went with them. It turned out to be craziest nights ever. It was the first time I heard and saw Gazelle performing and it was awesome! Gazelles music combines influences from funk, reggae, disco, 80’s electropop and traditional African melody – a great combination of music to dance if u ask me :-) Mo Laudi did a great performance aswell and me and my friends were having a great time at Le Baron. We danced till 5h in the morning….then we went for an after-party and at 7h30 I decided to go home…after all there was a new day coming up!

Check out the party at Le Baron on the YOUTUBE-clip I have made for you guys and the pictures in the end of the blogpost are from the afterparty we went to…just had to go out on the terrass to take some pictures of the beautiful view…
