Ladurée opening a boutique in Stockholm

Yes, it is true and now it’s official! Ladurée will open a boutique in Stockholm :-) If you can’t make it to Paris, then Paris comes to you…that goes for the people living in Stockholm that soon will be able to endulge themselves with the most delicious macarones in the whole world. I’m not saying that just because I’ve been working at Ladurée in Paris, but I have tasted macarones from different “brands”…and even in Sweden…they’re not even comparable to the ones that are served at Ladurée. So I’m truly happy that the Swedish people finally can buy delicious and heavenily tasty macarones at Ladurée in Stockholm very, very soon! To be continued……..

Northern Women in CHANEL

When I was in Stockholm in September I went to Fotografiska and visited the exhibition “Northern Women in CHANEL”, by the photographer Peter Farago and the stylist Ingela Klemetz-Farago. The exhibition showed photographs of classic creations by CHANEL on Scandinavian models such as Freja Beha Erichsen, Helena Christensen, Caroline Winberg etc. Here are some photos I took when I visited the exhibition:

Fabrique - A French bakery in Stockholm

Fabrique, a French bakery in Stockholm that I visited with my friend Hana. It’s situated at Nybrogatan and I loved their interior, very industrial and they also had nice industrial lamps that are from Czechoslovakia that were bought in an auction in Stockholm.

Yesterday I went to the office of my friend Christophe, and met him and his friend. They’re working with a top-secret project and they wanted to show me the drafts. I was amazed…I can’t say more because I don’t want to reveal what the project is about. But I’m happy they took the ideas I had contributed with when we’ve met before and I got a very special gift for that contribution. Afterwards we went to Café de Flore and Café Germain for an after-work. Christophe’s friend is going to Stockholm later today, his very first time and he had bought three guide-books about Stockholm, I was impressed! I gave him some addresses on top of that to visit. I’m sure he will enjoy his stay in Stockholm, can’t wait to hear about his experience :-)

Sushi @ Råkultur in Stockolm (Kungstensgatan 2)

Last evening in Stockholm my lovely friend Hana took me to one of the best sushi-restaurants in Stockholm called Råkultur. They’ve recieved the Golden Dragon prize for 2011 (Gulddraken) and getting a table there is pretty difficult but me and Hana didn’t mind waiting…we had lot’s to talk about anyway ;-)

It was my first time at Råkultur and I’ve had cravings for sushi for a long while now and I was happy when Hana invited me for the dinner at Råkultur. We’re both sushi-lovers and we are very picky when it comes to food. But Hana had brought me to the brought me to the right place…the sushi was delicious!!! We had our table full with different kind of sushi’s and it was a delight trying them all :-)

A week has already passed by since I was in Stockholm. Time passes by really fast these days. My four days in Stockholm felt like ONE hectic day and I can’t wait till I get to go there again :-) This time I went to my dentist to tighten my braces (which I have to do every second month), met my dad, my friend Hana and her family (her mom surprised me by makig my favourite dish!) and I also met my childhood friend Sabina and her beautiful newborn son :-)

My visit in Stockholm was way too short…I miss my family and friends already. Hope to get back soon :-)

Stockholm is a real beauty…at least before the darkness and coldness of the winter…. It’s nice beeing here, even though it’s a very short visit. I need some fresh, clean and pure air and some healthy living, at least for a couple of days :-)

(leaving Paris)

I was running from one businessmeeting to another on my last day in Stockholm. Didn’t even had the time for lunch. Oh well, it’s not everyday I’m in Stockholm and that’s why I had a meeting with Nyföretagarcentrum to present an idea I had to get feedback on, I went to Skatteverket with some questions I had and I also expanded my companies services by fill in a form at their office. I also had some inspiring meetings with my former colleagues who nowadays are running their own companies and right now I have so many ideas that I even don’t know where to start….

I also receieved several products from Philips to test and write a review on my blog, exciting :-)

In between my meetings I also had a 30 minutes intensive meetup with my friend Irina. I was really happy meeting her even though I didn’t had much time, but it was inspiring as always and I can’t describe in words how amazed I am over her life. Keep on attract the most important things in your life Irina ;-)

Saturnus is a French inspired café, patisserie and boulangerie. During my last years in Stockholm it acctually became my favourite place to have a “fika” and it was acctually at Saturnus where I declared for one of my friends that I decided to move to Paris. A few days ago I met my best friends Hana and Emma at Saturnus. We cooled down with Ice Teas, freshly squeezed orange juice, salad and a BIG kanelbulle. Saturnus are very famous for their kanelbullar size XXL, they have a weight of 400g compared to a regular kanelbulle that only weight around 70 g. They are delicious and perfect to share with friends :-)

We had a nice time with each other, updated what had happened since the time we saw each other last time and about our future and about our DREAMS….

SVENSKA: Saturnus är ett fransk inspirerat café i Stockholm som blev mitt favorithak de sista åren som jag bodde i Stockholm. För några dagar sedan när jag var i Stockholm mötte jag upp några av mina bästa väninnor för en fika på Saturnus. Vi kylde ner oss med iste, nypressad apelsinjuice, åt sallad och en gigantisk kanelbulle. Saturnus är välkända i Stockholm för sina gigantiska kanelbullar, de väger 400 g, jämfört med en vanlig kanelbuller som brukar väga ca 70 g. Deras kanelbullar är himmelskt goda och perfekta att dela på med vänner :-)

Vi hade en trevlig pratstund, vi uppdaterade varandra om vad som hänt sedan sist vi sågs, vi pratade om vår framtid och våra drömmar…

After Saturnus we went to Humlegårdsparken:

“If the restaurant is the heart of STORY (hotel) the BAR is the soul” – that’s how the STORY (bar) is described at STORY Hotels website. Me and my friend went to Story Bar in Stockholm for a couple of days ago. It was my first time visiting the bar and I really liked it. It’s influenced by a Parisian salon, I loved the paintings on the walls, the music that the DJ was playing and their cocktails, my God what a barmenu! Would love to try out all their cocktails. This time me and my friend had a Storypolitan (Story Hotel’s signature cocktail, roses and citrus with a story in mind) and a White Orchard (rose petal and cucumber, gin meets exotic lychee and mint, short and fruity). Utterly delicious!

Et voíla, I’m back from Stockholm. Leaving Stockholm, my friends and my dad was really hard. Saying goodbye to people that mean so much for me is difficult and during the days in Stockholm I really felt for moving back. But my friends reminded me WHY I moved and not getting fooled by the mirage. Stockholm is a beauty during the spring and summer period. But the long, dark and cold winter and other things never pleased me. But hey, now I’m getting the best part of the both cities. Living in Paris is still like a dream for me and I’m acctually in Stockholm every second month where I get to spend quality time with my family and friends..it can’t get better, can it?

Idag kom jag tillbaka till Paris, mitt nya hem. Det var svårt att lämna Stockholm, mina vänner och min pappa. Att ta farväl av människor som står mig så nära är svårt och under de senaste dagarna som jag var i Stockholm kände jag för att flytta tillbaka. Men mina vänner påminde mig om VARFÖR jag flyttat därifrån och inte låta mig luras nu när Stockholm låg i blom. Den långa, mörka och kalla vintern och andra saker tilltalade mig aldrig men nu inser jag att jag får det bästa av mina två favoritstäder. Att bo i Paris är fortfarande som en dröm och att få åka till Stockholm varannan månad då jag får spendera kvalitetstid med familj och vänner är alldeles för bra för att vara sant – jag är mer än nöjd :-)

I love beeing in here Stockholm. We have had a really nice weather..I have met my friends and I have loved spending my time with them. I’ve really missed them so while being in Paris and it feels good meeting them all again. They’re always on my mind and in my heart.

Själv så sitter jag och bokar in intervjuer med några potentiella hyresgäster till min lägenhet i Stockholm. Min hyresgäst som bor där nu meddelade nämligen mig förra veckan om att han blivit erbjuden jobb i Boston,USA, så han flyttar ut i juli. Så om ni känner någon som söker en lägenhet i Stockholm får ni gärna ta och kika in HÄR. Snart åker jag till Stockholm, mellan den 2-8 juni kommer jag att befinna mig där och träffa mina vänner och min pappa som jag saknat så. Ska bli hur kul somhelst :-)

Btw, igår hittade jag en superbra ögonbrynspenna på Sephora…hett tips ifall ni är på jakt efter en ;-) Och mitt favoritgloss från Chanel håller fortfarande måttet..mina två favoriter i min necessär ;-)
